My stay at Hotel Floris Arlequin was a mixed bag. The central location made it easy to walk to key attractions, and the breakfast served on the top floor had beautiful views of the city. However, my room was small and had a musty smell, which detracted from the experience. Overall, it’s a good choice if you prioritize location, but don’t expect luxury.

Rooms
6.0
The room was quite basic and smaller than expected, with minimal amenities. I also dealt with some noise disturbances that made it difficult to sleep well.
Service

The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to assist me during my stay which made a positive difference.

I loved the hotel's prime location, just a few minutes from the Grand Place and surrounded by plenty of dining options, which made exploring the area so convenient.
Dining

Breakfast was a highlight with a good range of options and fresh pastries, and the setting offered stunning views of the city to start the day off right.

While I enjoyed the breakfast area and the modern lobby, the overall facilities could use some upgrades to enhance the experience.

6.0/10

During my recent stay at Hotel Floris Arlequin, I appreciated its central location close to key attractions, making it easy to explore Brussels. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the room, which had a few hygiene issues. The breakfast was decent, providing a variety of options, but the overall experience could have been much better with improved cleanliness.

Rooms
5.0
The room, while spacious, had issues such as dust on the tables and a stained carpet, which I found quite unpleasant for a hotel. The ceiling leaked during my stay, a significant concern, especially with a baby in tow.
Service
5.0
The staff at the front desk were generally friendly, but there were moments during my stay where I felt the service lacked urgency, especially when I reported the leak in my room. They seemed unresponsive to the needs of guests in problematic situations.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Grand Place and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and bars. This made getting around very convenient, and added to the overall appeal of my trip to Brussels.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast experience was quite nice, offering a decent selection of both hot and cold options, including scrambled eggs, pastries, and various drinks. However, the cleanliness of the breakfast area could use some attention as well.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities in terms of general maintenance need improvement; the hotel is old and it shows. The elevator was also awkward to use with luggage, and the lack of a working lift was inconvenient during my stay.

5.8/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Floris Arlequin Grand-Place. The location is fantastic, putting you right in the heart of Brussels, close to the Grand Place and plenty of dining options. However, numerous issues overshadowed my stay, including persistent noise from both construction and nearby bars that made it tough to get a good night's sleep. While the breakfast options were quite good, overall service fell short and left me feeling quite disappointed.

Rooms
5.0
My room was a bit rundown with an old, dirty carpet. I had issues with the bathroom light and the blow dryer, which were never fixed despite repeated requests. The noise level was unbearable at times, especially due to a loud bar nearby.
Service
5.0
The reception staff often seemed indifferent to my concerns, which contributed to my negative experience. They repeatedly failed to follow up on my requests for assistance, leaving me feeling uncared for during my stay.
Location
9.0
I couldn't ask for a better location! It was just a short walk to major attractions like the Grand Place. There are tons of shops and restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for exploring the area.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was a highlight, with great variety and a cozy dining area that offered lovely views of the old town. It was a nice way to start my day despite the other issues.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel is undergoing renovations, which might explain some of the issues I faced. Certain amenities advertised, like the central heating, were non-functional. Daily housekeeping was one aspect that was handled reasonably well.

My stay at Hotel Floris Arlequin Grand-Place was quite mixed. The fantastic location put me just steps away from major attractions, which I loved, but unfortunately, the ongoing renovations significantly affected my experience. The breakfast was decent and offered great views, but the noise from construction was disruptive at times. Overall, while I appreciated the affordable rate and central placement, the lack of attentive service and the condition of the room were disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
My room felt a bit dated, with visible signs of wear like pencil markings and a clogged shower drain that took a while to fix. On the upside, it was spacious enough, but it definitely needed some restoring.
Service
5.0
I found the reception staff to be indifferent, often preoccupied and not very responsive to my needs. When I encountered issues, like the clogged drain, their follow-up was lacking and somewhat dismissive.
Location

The location is amazing; I could easily walk to the Grand Place, and the proximity to shops and restaurants was incredibly convenient for exploring the area.

Breakfast on the 7th floor was one of the highlights, featuring a variety of options and great service. The views while enjoying my meal were amazing, making it a lovely experience.
Facilities

The hotel is under renovation, with ongoing construction that significantly impacted my stay. While the breakfast space was nice, the noise and the lack of maintenance took away from the overall experience.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Floris Arlequin Grand-Place. The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of Brussels, making it easy to explore the city. However, the hotel was undergoing renovations that made my stay less enjoyable, with some noise disturbances and some issues with my room. Breakfast on the top floor was a highlight though, as it offered wonderful views and a good variety of food, but other aspects of service fell short.

Rooms

My room was spacious but showed signs of being rushed in its renovation, including a clogged shower drain and dated furnishings.
